Global fullscreen hotkey problem

Postby cotton518 » 02 Jul 2010 23:18

When I am playing a video in the background while using another program, I always have the problem that when I type "d" which is the global hotkey for fullscreen, the player jumps to fullscreen even when the program is not the active program. Even when vlc is minimized I get this problem. I went into the preferences to try and change this hotkey but I still have that problem.

Is there a way that I can remove the global hotkey? I tried clicking the "clear" button but it does nothing for the global setting.

I hope my explanation is clear enough.

Nevermind, I figured it out.

For anyone else having the problem, just reset the preferences and that will help.
