vlc doesnt play nsv stream

Hi I have tried playing some winamp streams on a site but VLc doesnt output the video the streams settings are
codec:VP62
type:video
resolution=320x249

codec:mp4a
Type:audio

rest is blank. What should I do?

Correct, it doesn't -- that is a proprietary ON2 video codec. No way to add it to VLC.

isnt wmv also propriety?

Yes, but it has been reverse engineered. and for WMV3 (which isn't we can use some windows system calls to use it. For VP this isn't possible.
