random squary picture morphing on HD vids

This topic is about HD (720p) vids.

I have made this topic previously (there you can also see my specs) viewtopic.php?f=4&t=77538 but it doesn't lags the same way anymore, as I've updated to the latest version of VLC.

A new problem is that it occasionally makes a picture morph into another one, and it becomes all squary and wierd looking.

Is there a way to prevent this? Perhaps by adjusting something in the options, to decrease the picture quality a little?

This problem is only present on my laptop and not my stationary PC.
