Need self opening version 1.0.6 of VLC media player

The one that you just click and it installs. I had it, but this morning I decided to update to the newest version of the software, only to find that it won't work on my old computer. Stupidly, I had deleted the previous version by the time I found this out. So has anyone got it sitting around on their computer who would be willing to send it to me? I know that there is an archive on the VLC website, but I just spent the whole morning finding out that I can't open the files there.

Please forgive me if I've put this in the wrong place. I'm very bad with forums and get lost so easily that it's not funny.
