VLC Error Message

Postby dmbdenmother » 21 Jun 2010 01:37

I have been using VLC and uTorrent for a few years and have never had a problem.

Now when I try to download a program, VLC gives me an Error Message, as follows:
VLC can't recognize the input's format:
The format of 'C:\Documents and Settings\Suzanne Wells\Local Settings\Temporary
Internet Files\Content.IE5\KOTX9OO0\Five%Days%20S1%20revised%20final%20ep.avi[1].torrent'
cannot be detected. Have a look the log for details.

I don't know what log they mean. Also, uTorrent doesn't use the above file for downloading.
I use 'C:\Documents and Settings\Suzanne Wells\My Documents\Downloads

Should I uninstall and reinstall VLC?

I figured it out. I went to the place I hold the files. It included a trail torrent, but no file
for the program. Computer must have hiccuped. I deleted the trail, then went back to
download the program again. Worked just fine.
