Trouble opening network directories

Postby vlc_thomas2010 » 19 Jun 2010 23:17

VLC will not open netowrk-directories unless they are mounted. Is this a "downgrade" from previous versions?

This used to work on older versions of VLC. I am currently using 1.0.5

Example:
Open \\10.0.0.7\Madonna_Celebration will not work, but if I map the network path to a drive (e.g. T:\) it works.
Open T:\Madonna_Celebration will work

The trouble applies to all kinds of media types.
Opening single files works fine. E.g: \\10.0.0.7\Madonna_Celebration\song1.mp3
