Stream out using AXVLC version 1.0.0

Postby kittivud » 10 Nov 2009 18:13

Hello,

I build html application used AXVLC version 0.8.6h to capture video from Directshow device and stream it out to other PC. It work fine. But in AXVLC version 1.0.0 and higher the sout capability was removed. The below log message occured when I tried to create a sout stream.

input: unsafe option "sout" has been ignored for security reasons

Is it possible to enable stream out capability of AXVLC version 1.0.0 or higher?

I don't think you can do it easily.

Hi guys... Ive got exactly the same problem. There were guys posting code on how to make this work:
http://88.191.250.119/viewtopic.php?f=1 ... arpvlc.zip

Now it is broken. I, like so many others want to use the activeX because I havent got the compiler, the time or the skill to achieve this in a reasonable time. Now we get forced to go find other solutions than VLC because VLC "just cant deliver".

I have been on this forum for the entire day, wrote 800 lines of AutoIT code just to get stuck here. So yes, Im feeling rather unimpressed, and every second tough question on this forum pretty much ends with a very politely stated "...no, do it yourself or f*off..."
