Haim's netmeter - hard to find - tracks up download speed with graph
look for netm130.zip (otherwise it's not supposed to be distributed as the author is now selling another version) it's a 30k .exe file great!
ezdesk - really sticks your icons PLUS lets you sort them as you want
so that you can have anykind of folder layout that you want. Almost like
getting a whole new computer if you sort the icons then save them in
that position. Not free but the author has never answered my requests
to pay her soo....

Cetus Cwordpad
http://www.cetussoft.com/cwordpad.htm
a really small fast colorful Wordpad that I like 'cause of
date, spellcheck, and several other small features.
Netlab 1.4 - Nice for ping, whois, and those kind of features
but the best is the quick setting of your clock! - It sets the clock
when it starts and as often or as little as 1/min or 1/day.
I do always grab Netscape Gold 3.04 so that I can whip up fast web pages.
I really like the basic features of the html editor to create easy to read in
any browser web pages. It's great, small and easy to use. It's available
from the list of FTP sites in WS_FTP when you go to ftp.netscape.net (com)
or look for g32d304p.exe - name of netscape gold 3.04 file and run it
to install it. But there's a caveat. Turn off internet access first. Then
run the install and then the program. WhY? Because it will try to connect
to netscape.com and that site is full of javascript. And the browser will crash
due to javascript errors. So you must TURN OFF javascript. Then you can
go around and browse. But it's mainly for editing your quick pages. Not browsing.
But do my suggestion or you'll be very frustrated as it will try to load 100's of
pages that do not load with terrible results. Just turn off javascript then let your
internet connection back on line. - you'll be fine after that.
