Search for vlc 1.2.0 posts fail, what am i doing wrong?

I wanted to search for vlc 1.2.0 posts, however, when i enter a search with 1.2.0 or "1.2.0" or '1.2.0', the search fails. Is it possible to search using this string?

never mind,

i tried "vlc 1.2.0" and it worked.
