Output with least compression (convert from DIVX)

Postby drewjmore » 11 Jun 2010 17:42

Hi,

I'm having trouble understanding how to convert/save my videos.

I have an older Poloroid point-and-shoot that stores videos in DIVX/XVID format on it's SD card.

I want to convert that to pretty much anything else so I can edit it in Adobe CS2 (which AFAIK doesn't work with divx).
I'd prefer something like a sequential BMP or PNG format, to preserve as much raw detail as I can from the DIVX data.

What combination of output settings sould I use to get uncompressed "best-we-can-do" images and sound from the source format?
