Hello!
I have an IP-camera (Panasonic BL-C111A), which I use to monitor my baby's sleep... vlc-1.0.5 was playing the video (and sound) just fine (from rtsp://cam-masik:554/nphMpeg4/g726-320x240 -- only reachable from my home LAN, of course), but then I upgraded from 1.0.5 to 1.0.6 (using the FreeBSD port of vlc).
The new version refuses to play the stream, telling me (in good Ukrainian), that g726 can not be played, and neither can mp4v.
I used the exact same options, when building the new version. There is no mention of g726 in config.log. If g726 support is derived from some other software package (x264? ffmpeg?), please, let me know, which one it is... If it is, instead, provided by vlc itself, what could possible have turned it off?
Please, advise! Thanks.
