shortcut adjust controllers of audio and subtitle to sync

Postby Guest » 15 Jan 2004 12:45

When you watching a movie and notices that he audio or subtitles doesent sync 100% some shortcuts like "apple" plus +/- or somthing easy on the keyboard would be nice... 1/100 of sec steps and on screen wiew of the setting while you do it..that makes your movie more entertainable..

That shouldn't be hard to do as a hotkey binding...

I was just searching the forums to see if their is a way to adjust the sync between the audio and video during the playback of a movie. Some way to adjust it would be really great, as I have all too often come across a movie I downloaded which has the audio being spoken a couple or more seconds after the actor's mouth has already spoken the words. VLC Player is really Awesome & I use it all the time! Thanks very much for making it & continuing to improve it! :)

use viritualdub to resync the audio, use subadjust to fix subs that doesn't sync.

if everybody made this there would be no bad syncing movies around...

If it is an avi file, try 0.7.1 test releases, since a bug was fixed with some files.
