rtci commands and documentation?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

rtci commands and documentation?

Postby cod3po37 » 25 Mar 2005 14:57

I have successfully been using the --intf=rc option to gain some control over the VLC player. I have also seen the rtci option mentioned; however, I can't seem to find any documentation about the rtci interface.

Could someone please point me in the right direction? I'm using VLC 0.8.1 and W2KPro/Mac OS X.

I'm interested in both the command line options (like --intf=rc, --rc-host=127.0.0.1:9000, --rc-quiet that go with rtci) and how you actually access and control VLC through rtci.

Thanks in advance,
Steve

rtci is deprecated/removed. It was just a stub, a 100% duplicate of rc, that had been put in place if an rc variant was generated.
