VLC 1.1.0 RC bugs

Postby hajj_3 » 26 May 2010 11:08

The cursor still disappers in fullscreen mode :(

WebM support is included in this build btw.

also the preview doesnt show properly, it should take up all of the room not just the top left of it:

This happens when playing 720p files, if you manually change the size of the player such as make it 10px wider then the aero peek fixes itself and fully displays it like:

It has been reported elsewhere that adjusting the volume with the scroll wheel in full screen mode has been fixed in pre4, however I'm still experiencing this problem in windows 7
I'm also experiencing this in 64bit, also with 1.1.0RC.

why was 1.1.0 made RC when these bugs have been known for quite some time? Lots of ppl will try it now its RC and run into the same problems, not great P.R for vlc.

Because it has to advance and be more tested.
If you don't like it, don't use it.

Well actually, in the RC, if you hover your mouse over the volume slider in fullscreen mode and scroll it will adjust the volume. While its still sort of annoying at least you can go all the way up. However the volume isnt shown on the side still so if your above 100% then you have no idea what youre at. But at least you dont need to leave full screen
