2 finger mouse pad scrolling not working...

Postby bsw11 » 06 May 2010 20:30

This is also an issue in 1.0.

I have an ASUS netbook and i have the scroll wheel set to position - in a window this works fine. In full screen it does not work at all.

I am running W7. I have installed a mouse pad driver that supports 2 finger scrolling as well as one finger mouse pad edge scrolling - both do not work in full screen. I will be happy to run a debug session if I get the instructions if that will help.
EDIT - does not work in the separate window either - only in 1.0 window. Works when window is embedded in interface.

Other questions:
Is there plans in this version to support resume from last position?
How about single click for pause play when not on a dvd menu?
Is there a way to have multiple saved playlists?

If those 3 items are in VLC I would never ever use another player!!

The scrolling is fixed for pre4

No for last position, no for single click, yes for saving playlists.

Last position will be in 1.2.0. Single click, maybe too.

Well thats good news unless it takes more than a year for 1.2 :-)
So can saved playlists show up in the tree on the left and if so, how?

Any ETA on pre4?

Oh yeah - one other item - I noticed that things like speed display (when you change speed) are not showing up in the video window or full screen like 1.0. Is there a setting to turn those on?

Suggestion for 1.2 - If you can remember last play position, also remember volume and speed settings as well.

pre4 is here.
the "not showing up in the video window" is the same bug as the subtitles.

Scrolling is NOT working

Speed Display IS working.
