Mousewheel x axis scroll in full screen is not working to ajust the volume.

It is set correctly in the vlc options, this happens in pre2 and pre3, works in 1.0.5, haven't tested any other versions.

This happens on both Windows 7 and Windows XP, I tried both.

Am I dreaming or you just said that VLC 1.1.0 pre3 has full bluray support? (even without support for menus or copy protected blurays).

If this is real life (aka i am not dreaming right now), it would be just awesome.

Unfortunately, we are still a bit far from it...
But most blu-ray files should play.

Since bluray was mentioned, what happened to the bluray access module that was present in 1.0.x? Is it still present in 1.1.0 and what does it do?

Just grabbed this from WebUpd8. The problem with the Mozilla plugin opening as mute by default (mentioned over here) still persists. A quick perusal of trac didn't turn up an existing ticket for this, so I thought I'd mention it here.

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04; the poster who found the problem was using Windows XP.

Several bugs found.

1. One was already reported, the sound can't be controled with the scrollbutton (wich i don't mind to much because my logitech randomly changed sound lol)

2. Loading video, audio or whatever files from another program (Mostlikely every program but i can confirm this about Utorrent) it will show up as a blank ID in the playlist while, if you load them from explorer they do show up with the correct ID.

3. Another bug i found was that with some H.264 (or H.263 i'm not sure wich one it was again) it keeps on buffering every couple of minutes wich takes about a sec so it causes some lag.

4. Switching from one MKV to totally different MKV (series or movie) or Avi sometimes still causes a crash.

5. Can't explain this exactly but all of a sudden playing some video's it wen't to "No video stream at all" I tryed disableing the video stream and re-enableing it but that didn't work, tried switching files but everything had no video stream afterwards, had to restart VLC to fix the problem.

6. VLC still gets buffery and choppy wen playing 1080p it must have something to do with the libs and/or the buffering settings on HD 1080p/720p because it's not my videocard, it works flawlessly in XBMC (Xbox Media Center).

Well so far for the bugs i found, if i find anymore i'll be sure to report, hope it was helpfull :)

Greetz and thanks for the great program.

That's good. If the m2ts file is segmented (like vob files in dvds are), I won't have to interrupt to load the next file. How do I activate this access module?

Fixed as of tonight.

Pix?

Sample + trac ticket please.

Sample + way or reproducing please.

Use GPU acceleration, if you can.
Else, you'll have to wait for faster decoding, I guess.

Just open directly the folder with vlc

Image PMed. Its the exact same file, one loaded from utorrent and one loaded from explorer.
3. Another bug i found was that with some H.264 (or H.263 i'm not sure wich one it was again) it keeps on buffering every couple of minutes wich takes about a sec so it causes some lag.

Don't remember wich file it was i just remembered it happening so if it happens again i'll report it with a pic. (i think it was with the new family guy episode) and trac ahead idk were the trac code thing is and if it's google code I can't login.
4. Switching from one MKV to totally different MKV (series or movie) or Avi sometimes still causes a crash.
Sample + way or reproducing please
Example: Your watching one serie, then you switch to another thats coded in a different way, sometimes it crashes sometimes it doesen't, No specific pattern.
5. Can't explain this exactly but all of a sudden playing some video's it wen't to "No video stream at all" I tryed disableing the video stream and re-enableing it but that didn't work, tried switching files but everything had no video stream afterwards, had to restart VLC to fix the problem.

Can't get more specific, it happend exactly like that, all of a sudden it switched video files and the screen went blank (as it does wen you disable video stream) then it stayed blank even if you shut down the video stream and started it up again or if you moved back to a previously watched video that did show video before wich is blank then also.
Pretty weird so i can't get into more detail
6. VLC still gets buffery and choppy wen playing 1080p it must have something to do with the libs and/or the buffering settings on HD 1080p/720p because it's not my videocard, it works flawlessly in XBMC (Xbox Media Center).

I got a Nvidia 7300 LE so i don't think it will work but it's worth to try, were can i find the option?

This is the first 1.1.0-pre version I try. I have a really old machine and I have to say that this version loads a lot faster than any previous version of VLC.

I get a crash too by changing a video. its also happens when I stop the video. But its not depend on MKV, I play wmv Videos. I tried to make a backtrace (hope it is helpful):

Looks like a bug in libva? But when I open the file in mplayer (with libva) I dont get a crash.
