Nasty window pop effect

Postby MaeSiuS » 14 Apr 2010 17:38

Hello,
if a video is started in fullscreen mode you can see that vlc player creates a smaller window at first and then resizes it to fullsreen.
This results in bright flashing rectangles on the screen for a short period of time.
These may be the window bounds and additionally a filled rectangle that is different in size by each start of the same video.
Can this nasty effect anyhow be prevented?

If you use VLC without QT4 GUI, it shouldn't happen.
