P2P stream to 10,000 clients VOD

Can I stream to a client base which is pulling video-on-demand.
Can VLC handel this large amount 10,000 user-base. If, not, what should the requirements be?

It depends on what hardware and bandwidth you have, much more so than which software you use.

That's kinda meaningless question. If you put enough servers to scale up, any software can do it, though the number of clients per server will depend on the software, the hardware and the use case.

I have tested many other solutions for streaming video (free and non-free)- VLC is the best of it. I think you'll get problems with hardware limitations first.
