Multiple screens freeze

Postby chromian » 31 Mar 2010 21:06

When I move the VLC player from one screen to another (secondary screen)during playback the sound plays OK but the video freezes.
I have not found a way to refresh the video and I have to start over.
Is this a feature?

BTW it is not something I do all the time, but it catches me out. Other video players (eg Netflix) do not fail.
(One screen is DVI and the other HDMI). OS is WIndows XP Pro up to date.

Thanks.

Ian

Disable the video overlay. This will greatly increase CPU consumption.

Thank you Remi. I take it that means "Accelerated video output"?

Yep!! That worked. Thanks a lot.
