Can't play Dreambox .ts files

Hi!
I am running the latest version of VLC on a WIN XP Pro machine. I have a Dreambox DM 7000-S which records to an internal HD in .ts format. I FTP into the DB and copy my recorded files into a folder on my PC's HD. I used to be able to view them just fine however, when I open one of my .ts files to play it the VLC window reduces down to it's smallest size. When I resize the window to watch the recording there is nothing but a blank screen and the slider at the bottom moves along at a very fast rate. That's it!

It views my DVD ripped files perfectly. I have the settings on default. I have reinstalled VLC with no luck. Any ideas?

I'm using VLC for Streaming and watching my Dreambox-Recordings and livestreams. Works absolutly perfect. Only saving a stream while watching it isn't working correctly.

how did you make your vlc player the default player?i also have a dm box dont get any trouble here im usonf firefox browser ,wha you using?
