Saving audio-streams

Postby Arran, the real » 29 Mar 2010 20:05

Hello

I use VLC since many years on both operating systems, Ubuntu and XP. I have only recently realised, what a wonderful world of Radio Stations are available via the internet and try now to use this method. Now I have one question:
How can I make a selectable list, which Radio Station I want to hear? Of course, I can always select from the field "already used stations", but there are only 10 available. Is there a possibility to make such a list, so I can simply click on something that looks like "Radio Musette" instead "http://listen.radionomy.com/musette-fm.m3u", or worse, "http://dir.xiph.org/listen/17464610/listen.m3u" standing for "University of Lucerne, Jazz faculty". So, I search something like the "Tuning Button".

thanks a lot for any response and best greetings.

You'd need to make your own playlist file.

Merci for your answer. Is there anywhere a tutorial how to do such a playlist and then how to use it?

Asking for help again...

And adding another question:

Which website has / websites have the best and most comprehensive list of stream addresses?
