1.1.5 vlc help

I have vlc 1.1.5 and wen I go to vue playlist I can ad songs to the list but I don't see a save tab how do I save it to say the desktop

1.0.5 is the latest version. There is no tab to save files. Use VLC's export or transcoding feature to store incoming streams on your harddrive. Additionally, there is a function to save your current playlist.

1.1 is the current unstable branch, which may not behave the way you want it to be. That's why, it's not released yet.

It says it in the about Tab is this stable??

That's correct. 1.0.5 is the latest stable release.

you can't save in the playlist/library window, just go to the mainplayer, "Media" option and "Save Playlist to File"
