Remove videos from playlist

Hello,
I use VLC media player 1.0.5 and in the previous versions I was able to remove videos from my playlist by simply selecting the videos and pressing delete. Since I got the new version I can't do this und can't find this nether in the playlist options nor in the shortcut options. Could me please somebody tell me if this is still posible and where to set this option.
Sorry for my bad english, I'm from germany.
