GREETINGS, ALL
I am an innocent user, merely trying to convert a DVD of my home movies from the 1960s ... created from VCR tapes by my Samsung DVD Recorder ... to a form that I can edit on my Mac dual 1 GHz G4 machine.
So I downloaded HandBrake and tried to use it.
HandBrake told me it could not find VLC and VLC was required for this job. So I downloaded VLC, being careful to select the 32-bit version for Power PCs.
Now HandBrake tells me that VLC is not 32-bit. Hmmmmm. I have downloaded it TWICE, selecting the 32-bit Power PC version.
What is going on? Are the VLC downloads mislabeled? Is HandBrake confused? Have I punched the wrong button? Is something else going on?
HELP!!
