How to update SAP announcements without restarting stream?

VLC stream some channels from SAT via multicast (VLM).
Like: ...dst=standard{access=udp,mux=ts,url=239.255.100.99:1234,sap,group="Base_group",name="1st"},select="program=30",...
But some time channels are renamed.
Is it possible to update SAP announcements without restarting stream?
I try to connect VLC via telnet, edit output, than control play (without control stop), but SAP announcements are not updated.

You can do that with miniSAPserver, but currently not with the built-in SAP.

I see that last release of miniSAPserver was more than year ago.
Is project of miniSAPserver active?
