Black screen with 1 second left

Postby jt077 » 31 Jan 2010 09:30

Hello,

This problem developed recently, as I've never had trouble with VLC in the past. I'm running windows 7 64 bit, and I've got a video playlist going. At the end of the first video, with 1 second left, the screen goes black and it stops playing. The video does not resume and it does not move on to the next video in the playlist. The video types are .mkv (I don't know if that matters, but I'm trying to include as many details as possible). Even if there is no playlist, the video stops with 1 second left and the player "freezes" on that black screen. Please help.

Thanks,
JT

Known issue for MKV files which have multiple audio tracks.

Hello. I am curious if there has been any news related to this fix. I recently uninstalled, cleared settings, and reinstalled VLC; this problem persists. It is pretty a pretty irritating problem, I've had to resort to alternative media players so I can properly playlist multiple files.
