v.1.0.3 Vista Crash

VLC keeps crashing during .mkv 720p file playback. Plays a few minutes then crashes and when i restart VLC it says 'VLC just crashed. Do you want to send a report bla bla.'

Okay so, i went to the forums and searched around looking for some solutions. Tried some but none that worked. And so here is the message log:

Tho, i've noticed that it is not all .mkv 720p files that crash, is it fair to assume that it is the file that is corrupt, not VLC? Is the problem fixable?
