Anyway to not have vlc shrink into a small player?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Anyway to not have vlc shrink into a small player?

Postby roberty » 27 Jan 2010 02:19

I use vlc a lot and one thing I wish to change or perhap does exist already is how to make the player not turn into a small player after it ends. Is there a way to maintain the last frame of the video or at least the size of the last played video, so it doesn't become a mini player with no picture?

Thanks,
Roberty

If avail. in whatever vlc you're using then set 'Display Mode' to 'complete look with information area'

In linux - tools - preferences - Interface - display mode

That's the --play-and-pause which was added in VLC 1.1.0
