VLC doesn't get second audio source from stream?

Postby bradallaround » 24 Jan 2010 02:46

Hello!

I have a streaming thing setup to record a mms link and I am having an issue where when the program is scheduled to start I have VLC record the stream but before the offical stream starts they display a "streaming will begin at (time)" screen that stays there till they start the stream... anyways what happens is that when the stream does start VLC doesn't capture the audio only the video.

I can get VLC to get the audio and video fine if I start the recording after that "will begin at (time)" but I'd like to be able to start it at the exact time and if the stream hasn't officially started I can still get the audio.

Hopefully this makes sense?
This is with VLC 1.0.3, by the way.... and I have tried --sout-all which I thought would fix this but doesn't seem to.

I'm lost here, so thanks for any help!
