screen size in loop mode

when looping (playing the same video over and over) each time it reaches the end of the video and restarts it reverts to the "default" screen size

this means whether you drag a corner of the vlc screen and enlarge it or try to set zoom and other options it goes back to the original screen size when the single file was opened

the only time that looping the file works without reverting to "original" size is and this is so obvious when in full screen mode

am I missing a setting in the advanced settings ???

found my answer if I use this disable from another post now vlc behaves like I want it to it retains the dragged size on loop .... even opens after a close in the last used size and position

If I disable "Resize interface to native video size" (in the preferences under Interface/Main interfaces/QT) zoom ist not working anymore. Whatever size I choose (quarter, half, original, double) - nothing happens. I would like to set the video to it's original size, but I want to do that manually. If I just enable "Resize interface..." the interface gets resized everytime the videofile is changed. I do not want that to happen
