Cannot watch movies, need codec IV50 error

Postby Mange88 » 12 Jan 2010 19:00

Howdy, When i'm trying to run a film I got, that i've filmed on my webcam. I'm not able to play it up on VLC or any player at all, not even divx or media player classic.. I've also been looking for codec IV50, but it seem like its hard to get nowdays. What I know it was pretty easy to catch earlier but now... well.
Do any of you have any clue of what or where I could get this specific codec (iv50)?

Cheers,
Mange

Although that's for Windows only and I'm not even sure that it will install and/or work on Windows 7 and on Vista you must run the setup as an administrator.
And that's for DirectShow players only, it won't work with VLC.
