Video stops working

I am running VLC 1.0.3 Goldeneye on an OpenSuse 11.1 connecting to an rtsp stream on a LevelOne IP Camera. The command I use to connect to the rtsp and transcode is:

sudo -u vlc cvlc -v rtsp://207.42.229.6:1025/cgi-bin/live.sdp --sout #duplicate{dst="transcode{vcodec=DIV3,vb=256,scale=1,fps=1}:standard{access=mmsh,mux=asfh,dst=:8080}"}'

I connect to this stream using windows media player, and the video will play for approx. 20 - 30 seconds and then the screen goes blank. I have no idea what could be causing this. If any one can help and give me any clue I would greatly appreciate it.
