Santa hat still being displayed on Dec 28

Hello,
First and foremost I appreciate the eastereggs that the VLC puts into the media player. I find them quite fun; however, I am still seeing the Santa hat icon in my VLC player and for me it's currently Dec 28.

Is there a way to reset it back to the standard vlc icon till the next holiday?

Any thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Knowing that it's the end of the year will work. Seeing the Santa hat till April/March (Catholic / Orthodox) Easter would be a long time to wait.

We didn't plan on making it for Xmas, but just for the end of year...
