How permanently save Effectsettings ?

Postby DSL Cowboy » 21 Dec 2009 17:23

Hello

Since any days i use VideoLan Player 1.0.3 and Win 7 Enterprise. If i change Videosetting (Gamma and Contrast) in Extras/Effects and Filters/Video, it works. But then i restart VideoLan, the Settings are again at default and i must set them again after every new start. How can i permanently save the changes ?
Thanks.

A workaround is to open preferences and click save.

Hello.

Your "workaround' doesn't work.

That's really a bad thing. I spent 15 min to have correct settings with the audio and video, and when I restarted VLC : nothing.

It's possible to save them permanently ?

Why you don't implement the autosave with these settings ?

Cordially, a VLC Fan.

Do you know any good media player who don't automatically save the equalizer and video parameters when you change it ?!

It's really a gap in VLC, and it's really laborious and tiresome to do this every starts.

That's so hard to program that ? :(
