Takes long time to connect to http stream

Hello.

It takes about 2-4 minutes to connect to an http stream that we have using version 1.0.3.

This was not the case in earlier versions... I believe 0.9.*
The stream would connect right away.

This happens in both Linux and Windows. If I run vlc in the terminal on Linux I get "error: HTTP/1.0 400 Bad Request"

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Something is seriously wrong with your network configuration. At that point, you should use wireshark.
