VLC Web Player Plugin overlays the whole browser window

Postby schnorginator » 24 Nov 2009 20:49

Hello,

i installed the VLC web browser plugin for Mac OS X and it works on OS X 10.6 and Firefox 3.5.
But when one Video is instantiated it overlays the whole window, even if i switch to a new tab. Only a browser restart or a complete new window solves the problem.

Is it somehow possible to fix that?

Here some screenshots illustriating the problem:
the original position of the video:

when scrolling:

a new tab:

It works in Leopard (10.5), but it is still broken in Snow Leopard. Uninstall it for now and check back for a 10.6 compatible version in the future. There is no workaround or fix for it at this time.

There is no working version of this for Snow Leopard and there may not be a version for Leopard either, but I don't know.
