VLC Binary with FFMPEG compiled in?

Postby noknok » 10 Nov 2009 20:11

I am running latest VLC 1.0.3... when running any kind of transcode whereby I specify -> venc=ffmpeg{...}

I get in the log - no encoder module matching "ffmpeg" could be loaded

For windows, do i need to compile my own VLC with ffmpeg, I had thought this was done by default.

Nevermind - needed to specify my codec BEFORE specifying the venc=ffmpeg...
