New FLV-Problem since 1.0.3

Postby svkracht » 05 Nov 2009 22:31

Since 1.0.3 I can not use the slider to go to a desired position in the video when playing flv files.
Addionally the total time of the video always is displayed "00:00".

This all works fine with 1.0.2

Best regards
Sebastian

That is very bad, because the nightly build uses an older ffmpeg...

Does ffmpeg also affect WMV files? If so whatever ffmpeg used in 1.0.2 release must be more reliable as all WMVs and FLVs seek perfectly with no distortion and crashing/closing in 1.0.2.

I use the dump file from megavideo feed using IE and Unlocker.

I upload a splited flv file on : http://fantomfou.free.fr/temp/VLC/
There is 7 part : 6 * 10 Mb + 1 * 7.86 Mb

This files play fine on 1.1.4 but won't play on vlc-1.2.0-git-20110919-0003-win32.

I'm currently uploading it. it might be ready in 20 min.

Same behaviour as the one described in ticket 4853.
And both files have been tagged using MEGA.

Code: Select all

Tagging application : MEGA

I think j-b already has enough borked FLV files. So you can remove it.

Ok.

I see j-b close the ticket. Does that mean the next nightly build will work ?
