How to remove a file association

Postby Grape Crusher » 05 Nov 2009 23:33

I use VLC for just about everything, except Audio CD's. Having migrated to Windows 7 64 bit on a new computer I found I had not migrated VLC, so I installed it anew.

I thought I had removed the automatic association for Music CD's, but it insists upon opening them.

How do I remove that association?

Thanks

Edit the File Types in Explorer.

Or remove PlayCDAudioOnArrival and VLC.CDAudio entries from registry.
