For those who don't know, SonicWALL is a company that makes firewall appliances. It seems as though recently SonicWALL has taken the offense to videolan.org as they have added it to a "blocked sites" list within the content filtering. They have it categorizied as a "Pay to Surf" site. To this I said "WTF Mate!?".
But who knows, maybe someone was sneaky enough to trick SonicWALL into adding it to the list. This is something that they anticipate and they offer an easy web form [http://cfssupport.sonicwall.com/eng/]to fill out to get a site re-evaluated. I filled out the form and waited (I'm sure they get quite a few daily). The response I got back was:
This looks like to me that they are keeping this category, which is ridiculous. I'm on hold right now (52 minutes and counting) to physically ask someone "why the heck?".Dear Customer:

So all this junk makes me ask, do any of you guys know why your website would be listed on a content filtering black-list in the first place? Just curious/bringing it to your attention.... Thanks!
