Postby r2sd » 24 Oct 2009 10:17

VLC uses the same Cone Icon for all types
I have few Icon Packs(Many ".Ico"s) That I've downloaded from http://devianart.com
These Icon Packs have many icons to suit many extensions like AVI,DVD Disc,FLV
But I don;t know how to use these icons
So,Please help me,Infact you need to teach me how to use them

How you can set icons for file types depends on your operating system. On Windows XP you can do it via the "Folder Options" (at least I think that's how its called) under the Extras menu. There is a tab for file association where you can modify the different file types.
Try googling or ask on e.g. http://www.neowin.net

Hi,
if you want to change icon let me suggest you something.

1)if you have Windows Xp , please download "TUNEUP" software. Install it on your system. Run software, inside it you'll have option for icon.
2)if you have Windows Vista, Please download "Vista123" software. Install it run it you'll find icon settings there.

As you said here, you've downloaded Icon Package. Use this Icon package with whatever software you donwload.
