Video stretched has vertical lines

Postby thecatman0 » 07 Oct 2009 05:37

I am running 1.0.2 on windows 7 x64. I recently purchased the Radeon HD 5870 and it has been installed now for about a week. Whenever I watch movies and stretch to fullscreen, the video loses quality and has vertical lines (see the snapshots below) I have a 24" monitor at 1920 x 1200. With my previous video card, this was not a problem...when stretched to 16:10 the video did not have the vertical lines. What has changed? Any advice? I've tried all the deinterlace modes and no luck. The first image is too large, and actually doesn't really show the problem, but trust me, it's a problem.

i got the same problem, its VLC's fault as its not compatible with windows 7. they should fix it but they seem to not be interested even though after a year many of us will be using win 7 only.
