Disabling subtitles permanently

Postby ltcarter47 » 03 Oct 2009 21:06

Hi guys,

I use VLC on my home theater mac mini with a remote, and when I watch an MKV with subtitles they automatically display. I can pull out a mouse and disable them by going to Video>Subtitles Track>Disable. I'm hoping to configure the preferences so that this is set to disable by default. I did some searching on this issue a year ago or so and came across some settings that worked at the time, but since then (probably after an update) the subtitles have returned. I am running 1.0.2 on OSX 10.5.8 (10.6.1 soon).

Here are the settings I am using:

Seems like it should be working, right? Am I missing something?

Thanks,
Sean
