How to view a video with a filter

Postby marcel.tella » 29 Sep 2009 23:50

Hi!

I'm a new programmer who tries to build video filters.
I'm trying to understand a filter called invert.c

I'd like seeing the results of apply this filter on a video but I can't find it in VLC.
I'm using Linux, Ubuntu.

What happens with this filter, is not compiled?

And, If it's true, how I have to do to compile it?

Regards! And Thanks!

vlc --list |grep invert will tell you if the filter is present

and vlc --video-filter invert to use it

Thanks!

And, if the filter doesn't stay there?

Should I compile VLC again with the filter file inside?

Thanks!
