Or, try Macles blogg macles.blogspot.com, search for vlc. If you, like me, run AAO with Fedora 8, type of, you will need this site.
Macles installation works, even under Firefox 3.5. Unfortunately it is for an old version 0.8.6, but is the best you can get if run Fedora 8. The somewhat better working 9th version has been removed. We are waiting for somebody to help us with a newer version of VLC. (Please!
