VLC, live555 and WinCE

Postby Tanthalas » 26 Aug 2009 14:41

Hello, I am trying to port vlc to wince. I need VLC will be able to stablish a rstp connection with the server. To do that, I need to compile live555 first. The problem here is that you need to execute the command ./genMakefiles <platform>, and there is no support for wince. Nevertheless there is a platform for cygwin and cygwin-for-vlc. If I use cygwin, I could use these options to compile live555 for wince platform?? Or I need to create my own config.wince file ??

Thanks in advance.

VLC is already ported to WinCE, it lacks some love for interface and vout.
Contact linkfanel and geal on IRC.
