How to Play a video and Capture it on DirectShow

Hi

Sory about the Topic if it is not on a correct place but i did not know a specific section about that.
There are some softwares that can play the video and Export on DirectShow than i can Capture that video with another MediaPLayer which supports Capturing .
Can i do the same thing with VLC.
