libvlc for arm-linux

can anybody have builded the libvlc for arm-linux platform.
how to build it .can you give me any advice?

There are packages for arm and armel in debian (1.0.0 in sid, 1.0.1 soonish when some build dependencies are built)

There is nothing special to do in the configure line or build process
