hi everybody. I wonder what would be the biggest step to do to get vlc compile on borland c++ builder ?

i don't know what sould be the problem so if you have any idea ?

I realy don't know if this is possible (yes with a lot of work but ...)

The thing is, most of the libraries compile only in a unix or unix-like environment. Which means that you can make your best efforts to have a VLC compiling under borland c++ (or visual c++), but it will lack a good lot of functionalities.

It is really so important to port VLC to another compiler than gcc?

uhm...... Murray, djgpp is suitable under WIN32 to compile VLC?
