Use VLC for Tversity Streams

Postby jebise101 » 29 Jun 2009 19:31

Most of you may know the tversity media server, when not at home i just go to my ip address and i can watch any movies i have from my home computer using any browser that is able to play flash. But the problem is that it converts everything to flv which degrades the quality of the video. Now is there any way that i can try my ip address into vlc and watch it that way?

Like use vlc to watch a movie that tversity wold normally stream to a browser if not at home?

Seems more like a question for a tversity forum.
